Equatorial Voices Network

About the EVN

We are a network/team of passionate environmental and climate activists, advocates, and defenders from the Equatorial Regions across the world. We use Bohm-inspired dialogue to share climate concerns and threats within our localities and to research and assess appropriate solutions to mitigate further climate change and to deal with the crises already upon us.

As a network, we are looking to all countries in the Global South hard-hit by the effects of climate change and that are severely handicapped in dealing with it. Most of them do not have the structures, commitment, and passion to inform all of their citizens about it and involve them directly in achieving sustainable solutions.

Vision

 A Climate-Disaster-Free Environment for a Sustainable Future.

Mission

To re-instate a sustainable and conducive environment through the use of conservation, resilience, and restoration strategies.

Goal

To build a network of passionate climate action advocates and activists to share knowledge through dialoguing and to inspire communities to take effective action on these threats, through respectful communication and mutual support and inspiration.

Strategic Objectives

· To raise awareness about the climate crisis and its destructive consequences across the world.

· To build a network of think tanks to establish sustainable solutions to the climate crisis, bringing our different professions, perspectives, and experiences together to find wise and just solutions for all.

· To engage in effective practices of environmental restoration, resilience, and conservation by testing various environment-centered projects and activities and spreading news and practices of the most successful.

· To lobby various organizations and authorities for changes in policies and laws and the elimination of loopholes for environmental degradation and exploitation.
